Jail Ministry Collection – Freedom Bags
This month we’ll be collecting items to support the Elkhart County Jail Ministry and their “Freedom Bags” outreach. These backpacks are given to individuals as they are released from the Elkhart County Jail and are filled with practical essentials to help them take a first step toward a fresh start.
Items typically included in Freedom Bags are toiletries, socks, blankets, gloves, and small gift cards. If you’d like to participate, please see the donation tree in the lobby and return the donated items by August 9th. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors in a tangible way.
Baptism Prep Classes | August 2nd
We will be celebrating Baptisms at the Doberenz Pond on Sunday, August 16th at 12:30 PM. The Baptism Prep Classes will be August 2nd at 9:00 am in Room 18 (across from the gym). If you are interested in participating in this celebration, please sign up at the Welcome Center or through the App (select the UPCOMING tab, scroll down, and click on Baptism Class).
Child & Baby Dedication Prep Class | August 2nd
We will be celebrating Child & Baby Dedications on Sunday, August 16th during the 10 AM service. If you are interested in participating in this celebration, please sign up at the Welcome Center or through the App (select the UPCOMING tab, scroll down, and click on Child Dedication). The Child & Baby Dedication Prep Class will be August 2nd at 9:00 am in Room 22 (Fellowship Hall).
Church Picnic @ Doberenz Pond | August 19th 12:30 PM
Join us for an outdoor picnic (weather permitting) at the Doberenz’s home at 18141 County Road 18, Goshen. Drinks, burgers, and hotdogswill be provided. Bring a lawn chair, a side dish or dessert to share, and swimwear if you want to cool off in the pond. (Last names that start with letters A-J can bring a dessert, and last names that start with K-Z can bring a side.)

StudentPoint will once again be downtown for Goshen First Fridays. They will be selling brats, burgers and hotdogs. Come down, have dinner and support our student ministries! The money earned will help support student trips and conferences.
