Rescue Sunday | July 28
Destiny Rescue exists to rescue kids from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and help them stay free. Join us as we learn about God's heart for human trafficking and how we can join the fight to help rescue kids, keep them free and lead them to Christ. The average cost to free a child from sexual slavery and help her begin her new life of freedom is $1500. We will take a 1-time offering that will go directly to Destiny Rescue.
LifePoint Sisters Game Night | Thursday August 15 | 6:30 pm — 8:00 pm
Ladies, join us in the Student Point Room for game night. Bring a snack to share and a white elephant gift. Contact Kristyn Sleeseman with any questions at 574-971-1212.
16th Street Block Party | August 17th | 1-4 pm
Free food, music, inflatables, and family fun activities have a way of bringing people together. Hospitality and generosity are also very simple ways to extend a friendly invitation. We want to invite our neighbors surrounding LifePoint Church to join us for safe, family fun event that we are going to host. Let’s love our neighbors and give them a reason to be thankful we are their neighbor. Sign up in the foyer to help make this event happen!
Go Sunday | August 25
Sunday, August 25, LifePoint will be leaving the four walls of our building to serve in our community. We will be partnering with our local community organizations to help serve them in any way we can. You can sign up at the Welcome Center or online.
Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Pro Tip:
If you plan to pack your own shoe box this year for Operation Christmas Child now is a great time to purchase school supplies for your boxes. LifePoint church will once again have boxes available for you to take one home to fill. We will also make sure your box gets shipped if you return it to the church with postage cost. The church is not paying for postage.
Wing Men | Second Monday of the Month | 7pm
Join me (Anthony) at the Goshen Wings Etc. on the second Monday of the month at 7pm. Wings, other men, and the community we often need but don't seek out.
Jesus and Java | Student Point | Every Wednesday Starting in June | 10 am
Hey students, join me (Danyell) every Wednesday from 10am-11:30am at Chocolatte in the Old Bag Factory. Bring money if you would like coffee, or smoothie! We will do a devotion and catch up. You could also enjoy the desserts that are delicious!
